hahaha… maintenance/upgrade tu cakap mulut diorang je. in fact, xde perubahan langsung. speed still sucks that what they promised.

tapi, celcom far away better than maxis la. kejap surf, putus, kejap putus. sakit dowh. aku pun lagi rindu streamyx. rapidshare pun dapat.huhu..

Celcom is far superior than MAXIS beingt hat Maxis uses 10M feed to the web (Using TIMECEL) and CELCOM is currently giving a 30MB link for KLANG VALLEY and additional 10M for North and South respectively.

I’m not sure what firmware or software you are given but if you are using the VODAFONE original software from CELCOM (non-retail pack,ie direct from CELCOM) there is an option to select 3G, 3.5G or 2G.

Either way, select 3G+ ONLY not PREFERRED as the connection,and also, location of the modem etc does make a difference.

One thing of MAXIS is the 18feet limitation in terms of height. Their 3.5G transponder is placed downwards and not upwards as compared to CELCOM using a Tabular transponder.

Look at it as Maxis transmit as an umbrella method with their height of the transmitting station as a grid reference and Celcom transmitting sideways, usually Hex-Grid bee hive. –>)) method. Or simply someone at the Pasar Malam using a loud hailer mounted to their umbrella and another using the Minaret of the mosque.

Digi uses HSDPA and now piggy backing off TimeCEL for 3.5G (same as IZZY). Theirs are a more cheeky method and think and look like using WiFi routers (like) as a repeater etc.

tapi buat masa ni, kelajuan celcom broadband aku lagi laju dr streamyx yg aku beli dulu.

tak sama celcom / maxis broadband and streamyx…streamyx mmg laju lagi…but susah nak mobile..maxis/celcom broband sesuai untuk mobile…tapi service mereka masih lagi tak mencapai kepuasan…so pilih2 maner yang sesuai dengan keadaan dan diri anda..

Aku OK Jer..dapat download iTunes Movie aku lincah giler. Tempat ko ker atau settings modem HUAWEI tuh kot..(tak force 3.5G) yang buat slow.

Aku tau kat Bkt Jelutung TUDM area mmg cilanat tol…tapi that is solved by a little tin biskut julie….

kejap celcom le, streamx la. maxis la, pastu tetibe jer u mobile. makcik aku pakai u mobile tapi aku x plak dgar rungutan beliau.
aku nak pakai broadband gak!
